Custom-shaped Sapphire Optical Windows are precision-engineered optical components fabricated from ≥99.99% single-crystal aluminum oxide (α-Al₂O₃). Unlike standard circular or square windows, these sapphire windows can be customized into complex geometries—polygonal, annular, D-shaped, sector-shaped, and more—while retaining sapphire’s exceptional properties: Mohs hardness 9, ultra-high scratch resistance, thermal and chemical stability, and broad-spectrum optical transmission (250–5500 nm).
